Join Up

• Go to www.saveoursonics.org or www.saveourstorm.org and register for action alerts.
• Do not be shy about telling others to join up.  Many supporters of the Sonics and Storm simply do not bother and need to be reminded that this is a key first step. 

Educate Yourself and Others

• Take the time to read and learn about complex issues involving our team and a new arena.  Many opponents will seek to oversimplify the situation or spread blatant information. 
• Take the time to discuss these issues with those around you.  Coworkers, friends, family members, and others need to understand the scope and impact of this debate. 

Spread the Word

• The most important thing SOS&S can do is have a strong and vocal presence until this matter is resolved.  We strongly urge members to show their support by:

Ø       Displaying an SOS&S sign in their window or lawn

Ø       Displaying an SOS&S sign or window cling in their car.

Ø       Calling local talk radio and voicing their support

Ø       Attend SOS&S rallies at games and other locations

Ø       BUY TICKETS!  The clearest show of support comes from attending and enjoying basketball events. 

Call, Fax and E-Mail Elected Officials

·         Contact your elected officials At least once per week.

·         Reply to any and all public comments made by officials on this matter

·         Ask Questions and DEMAND ANSWERS:

Ø       How will a bankrupt KeyArena affect the Seattle Budget?

Ø       How do Seattle City leaders intend to deal with a potential rival arena in Bellevue?
